Long Valley Trail Run

What had originally began as a planned trip to explore the Long Valley Trail was quickly transformed into a run up to Iron Mountain to play in the snow. We began the day with some vehicle problems with a couple of the vehicles with the Posse.
Following some creative brake work, we decided to head to Iron Mountain instead of Long Valley to go play in the snow. Upon arrival to the mountain, we aired down and then headed on our way up to play in some of the freshly fallen snow as well as letting the kids ride their snow sleds down the hills. After going as far as we could up the trail, we turned back and finished off the day exploring some of the newly reopened side trails near the base of the mountain.
After everyone had their fill of the trails, we headed down to Spanky's Pizza in Placerville for some pizza and cold refreshments, hope everyone had fun!
