From Gold Hills Posse 4x4 Club
Welcome to the Gold Hills Posse 4x4 Club Website
Originally formed in 2002, the Gold Hills Posse 4x4 Club is an active, family friendly club based out of El Dorado Hills in Northern California. We are one of the fastest growing clubs in the area, and welcome visitors to join us at a club meeting, run, event, or just hang out on our forum. We are also always on the look-out for active 4x4 community participants, who are interested in joining a club.
The Posse is open to anyone with a 4x4 vehicle, equipped with a transfer case with low-range gears, who has a desire to explore the great outdoors and supports efforts to keep areas open for generations to come. Posse members are encouraged to join the California Association of 4WD Clubs or one of the many other local, state or national land use advocate organizations. We are strong supporters of the "Tread Lightly" philosophy. Our unofficial motto is "No Yahoos!".
We have partnered with the United States Forestry Service and formally adopted the trail known as "Strawberry Pass", and perform considerable work to clean, repair and maintain this beautiful trail so it remains open for others to enjoy.

Club meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Round Table Pizza in El Dorado Hills (2222 Francisco Drive - at the intersection of Green Valley Rd.) New attendees will be welcomed and acknowledged!
